Acoustically designed by Dr Jack Metcalfe, Studio A houses the SSL E Series Console.
The Control Room is a large and comfortable area, designed for accurate monitoring.

All rooms have 4m high ceilings with double pane glass for visibility.

Front Foyer
A 6-Seater lounge, kitchenette and shower facilities are available when artists need a break.

Studio B

A Pro Tools 003 system with an isolation booth available for additional overdubs.

Video and photography production studio with a green screen floor, lighting and backdrops. 3.8m x 4.3m


Adam Jordan

Head Engineer//Mixer//Producer

When it comes to producing tracks, Adam Jordan sees it like this: “It’s the artist’s song, not mine. My job is to create great recordings in the artist’s style, perfectly suited to the intended audience.”  His artist-centric approach combined with raw talent and many years of experience make Adam a stand-out producer. To date, Adam has produced and engineered thousands of recordings for international and national artists as well as film and television projects. His work is featured on such productions as Mondo Generator’s Dog Food, Topnovil’s Blast the Stereo and heavy metal band Lord’s Ascendance, as well as releases from Aussie rock legends The Choirboys.

Adam Jordan began his career in audio working under the instruction of Pete Gage (Nekromantix, The Meteors). In 2002 he joined Main Street where he continued to hone his craft with Rob Specogna. By 2004 Adam was engineering the majority of the sessions at Main Street, working on albums and releases for Australian bands as well as overseas clients. In 2009, Adam Jordan took ownership of the studio. With a track record of achievement, unmatched reputation for professionalism and love for the craft, Adam Jordan records the music you hear in your head, that you feel in your heart, in a way to make your audience appreciate it.

Xavier Lardner


Xavier is dedicated to putting the band’s sound first. A proficient musician, he uses both his musical skills and engineering skills to collaborate with musicians in order to achieve the desired sound. He currently holds a Bachelor of Music (Audio), from the Australian Institute of Music under the guidance of such engineers as Guy Gray (David Bowie, Rolling Stones), Ben Wood (Beyonce, Kylie Minogue), Glen Phimister (INXS, Split Enz) and many more.

Currently playing guitar in The Franco’s and bass in GOSH, as well as countless session work over the past 5 years.


Reese Szabo


Reese has been active in the Sydney music scene for close to a decade, working as a song writer, session guitarist and music producer.

After attending the Australian Institute of Music, Reese was session musician and producer at Origami Studios. He was also a finalist in the APRA Development Awards for 2011 and toured Australia supporting UK artist Newton Faulkner in 2013.

2014 led to two self-funded trips to the UK to attend writing sessions at Tileyard Studios with both Tileyard and Notting Hill published writers/producers, as well as international artists including members of the Australian band The Temper Trap.

Now based in London, Reese has been working with artists such as Newton Faulkner, and is available for production and mixing while in the UK, and recording during trips back to Australia.

Joshua Craig


A composer, musician, engineer and producer, Joshua Craig has called Main Street Studios home on several occasions during his 7 year long career. His reputation as a ‘musical inquisitor’ along with his work ethic and passion has drawn bands to Main Street from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle. His predisposition for experimentation and innovation is seamlessly blended with his expert technical knowledge to produce some of the most interesting examples of contemporary music. In addition to his escapades at Main Street, he has been fortunate enough to have worked alongside some of the worlds biggest artists with his regular engagements at Triple J.
